7th Grade Chorale

• Seventh graders who are in Chorale will continue to learn how to use their singing voice as a part of a large group ensemble. Students will also continue to learn music theory and music history.
• Some solo opportunities may be available but are never required.
• The music students will sing represents a variety of styles and genres including pop, jazz, folk, rock, world music, Broadway, and movie soundtracks, well as traditional choral music.
• Students in Chorale will focus on learning to sing in 2-part, 3-part, and possibly even 4-part harmony.
• Performances are a graded requirement of this class. Performances occur in the 2nd, 3rd, and 4th quarters of the school year.
