Cantare

​Cantare (Cahn-TAH-ray) is a treble-clef vocal ensemble consisting of students who typically sing Soprano or Alto voice parts. Admission is voluntary on an elective basis, and passage fulfills the required Arts credit for graduation. *See below

Apollo Chorus is a bass-clef vocal ensemble consisting of students who typically sing Tenor or Bass voice parts. Admission is voluntary on an elective basis, and passage fulfills the required Arts credit for
graduation. *See below

​​*Enrollment in Cantare or Apollo Chorus is required for any rising 9th graders auditioning for the Limited Edition (LTD) Show Choir. Participation in either class provides basic knowledge of music through the performance and appreciation of treble choral music, laying the foundation for exceptional musical performance through
focuses on diction, tone production, and vowel formation, as well as improving or beginning students’ ability to read and write music notation. Cantare and Apollo Chorus perform in no fewer than two evening concerts per school year.
